This is the logo for the company I work for, this design is terrible compared to other lawn care companies around the champaign area. the reason i don't like it is because it looks like some type of candy, it reminds me of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory . an example is the the nerds candy above.

Chanel logo This is the Chanel logo, this is a very popular designer name brand around the world. Their font of choice works perfectly adding a contemporary style to something elegant and high class.

Advertisement for American Spirits tobacco product. Everyone knows that tobacco does harm to a persons health, but the layout of this add makes it look like its all fun without consequences, everything is symmetrical,  every thing aligns perfectly and the color scheme is great too, makes the product pop out more, and the warning labels are just there, they did it where its the last thing you see. 

Computer arts, May 2018 The main emphasis in this article is actually the billboard, they find a new way to advertise the online dating site called okcupid. The add and website is something that is available today, but the way they designed their billboard is retro. it has that late 80's early 90's vibe,  with the bright colors and the font style they use.

The Dark Knight movie poster, The Dark Knight 2008 In this poster the emphasis is actually the typography, the picture is just there to make the viewers focus more on the phrase. I personally think this is genius, the way "why so serious" is written is kinda childish but at the same time sinister considering who is writing it and with what he wrote it with.

Audi advertisement, Motor trend magazine If you haven't notice by now i consider my self a gear head as well. I originally got inspiration from this add to work for my magazine spread project. the reason i like this so much is for the use of the white space, and how the design shows speed as well, it makes the A6 like its moving towards you.
